Canon MX882 Review - Canon Pixma MX882 is a printer like most other equipped with features: print, copy, scan, and Fax. We can scan e-mail (it will open up our mail client and attach a scan new messages), and Fax from either our PC or our computers. About the front panel dual-function: to the right of 3-inch color LCD screen is a grid of 4-by-4 buttons, large enough for big fingers like me. When the machine is idle dark grid, but when we press the Copy, Scan, or card button on the left of the screen, backlit keypad light so that the 4-way controller (arrows pointing up, down, left and right, the OK button in the middle) appears. When we press the Fax, though, the controller was replaced by alphanumeric keypad.

On the right side of the output tray is a place for the USB slot or a PictBridge-enabled camera. In addition, behind protective doors, there is a slot for a variety of formats including CompactFlash, memory key, which we don't often see today.

It has a lot of work capacity, between 150-sheet cassette and the top 150-sheet feeder. (If we want to, we can fill the cassette with plain paper and feeders with photo paper.) It has an automatic duplexer to print on both sides of a sheet of paper. Auto duplexers became commonplace in the printer business, but the MX882 has one thing that we don't often see: a 35-sheet duplexing automatic document feeder (ADF) for scanning, copying, or faxing the document to two sides.
